I have two answers to a quadratic equation, one of which looks like this:
$25$ lines of expression
The GeoGebra CAS calculator cannot plot this as a graph for $x > 0$, and it certainly will not be able to handle working with it after I manipulate it further.
I therefore want to shorten it to $3$ sig figs. I could manually delete the appropriate number of digits in all numbers present to convert them to scientific notation, but it would take ages, and I would like to know if there is any program that can do this.
I tried using Mathematica to do it, but it only returned nonsense since I am a lousy programmer.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
