Many Elementor widgets, like Heading, Button, … use a content field in the editor to insert the content, for example the text that will appear in Headings and Buttons.

Instead of putting text in these fields I would like to put shortcodes that generate text. When I do that, things come out fine when the page is displayed (at least for the few widgets I have tested), but when in the editor the shortcode is displayed instead of the text that should be generated.

Is there any way to overcome this?
