<code> I have several video files (~20). With each one I also have 3-5 discussion questions. In similar situations in the past I have used Zoom to record an .mp4 video of a 3-4 slide Powerpoint 2019 presentation--1 slide for the video, the rest for the questions. But I had to pause the Zoom recording, trim the video (set the starting and ending times) manually within Powerpoint, then restart the Zoom recording. This worked "fine." But Zoom produces gigantic video files compared to Powerpoint 2019.
AND, in the past, I have used VBA many times to automate Excel files, especially. When all else failed, I recorded a macro inside Excel and then edited the VBA code. It seems that one cannot record macros in Powerpoint 2019. Also, as I look at the online help for Powerpoint 2019, I cannot find any objects, properties or methods which seem to deal directly with video media (the MediaFormat object seems close, but no cigar)!

I outlined my efforts above!
