I’m hosting a Minecraft server and I’m looking for a way to start it automatically when a player attempts to join, rather than keeping the server running 24/7. Is there a known method or a tool that can monitor server access attempts and initiate the server startup process accordingly? Any guidance or references to such tools would be greatly appreciated.
I have configured my Minecraft server to stay active, but I would like it to automatically start only when a player tries to connect. I was expecting to find an option or plugin that would allow this functionality, but I couldn’t find any. Currently, the server has to stay on 24/7, which is not ideal for my needs.
Also, is there a way to detect if a player is trying to connect to the server even when offline? This would help me understand if there is demand for the game even during times when the server is down.
