Hello Stackoverflow Community,
recently my company tried to apply for the Community Management API in the LinkedIn Developer Portal. Due to unfortunate internal technical issues, we didn’t receive the identity vetting email, and therefore the application process for the API failed. Now we are not able to reinitiate this process.
What we already have done:
- We have contacted the LinkedIn Talent Solutions email, which referred us to the Help Center.
- Using the Help Center, we have opened a ticket, which told us this is an issue we should raise in the StackOverflow forum. (or “contact the Help Center”? Which we already did.)
What do we need right now?
We would like to restart the identity vetting process but can’t find any button or other control element to do so.

We have contacted the LinkedIn Talent Solutions email. We hoped our issue would get forwarded to the corret address, but we got told to use the Help Center.

Using the Help Center we opened a ticket and received an answer which told us, to use the Help Center again or use Stackoverflow. Since it was the only logical address for our issue, we hoped to receive help there.
