I am developing a .Net webapp in Visual Studio inside a Citrix Workspace/Citrix Viewer hosted on my Mac.

How do I proxy requests from a browser on my host Mac to the service running in the Citrix Workspace VDI? What IP address would I use to access the service in the VDI?

I have achieved similar when using VirtualBox, but I don’t see any settings to forward requests in Citrix.

This seems to provide some hints, but I don’t have a ~/.ICAClient/All_Regions.ini file.

I don’t understand any of the Citrix documentation because it doesn’t give context, ie. whether the instructions are for the administrators or end users of the VDI, where the instructions are to be applied (VDI or host), etc. Also, I don’t know what XenApp/Citrix Receiver/Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops are or how they relate to Citrix Workspace.
