recently i start using two types of ESP boards with some indecatored leds but i really wish to use the onboard one and get rid of the external led. please help

A short reading sxplained me that such a led is not a normal pin but ” it’s an “addressable” RGB LED, so samples which just toggle an output won’t work” so saied the only guide i could find.

I suspect my GPIO pin is number 8 from reading online
but i can find no example code and chatGPT is completely lost
