I am in crisis.
I need a refund for my Bitly Growth plan, but there is no customer service center I can contact.
When I canceled my plan online, the AI guidance bot explained that I was forced to use the plan for one year and that I could not get a refund.
The important thing is that card, the company card.
Please help me.
Let me explain why this happened.
I was given the task yesterday to develop the ability to freely pass custom parameters to shortening URL.
I searched the Internet to handle this task.
And I read the explanation that if you pay for the Growth Plan on Bitly, you can pass custom parameters through the UTM function.
I purchased the Growth Plan from Bitly and tested it.
However, I could pass the custom parameter I wanted, but I could only pass the parameter value as a fixed value.
I wanted to pass parameter values dynamically, but Bitly’s functionality was incomplete.
For example, when there is a shortening URL called “bit.ly/3aBcd”, if you enter “bit.ly/3aBcd?param=123”, you cannot pass various param values such as 123, 456, 789, etc. to the final destination URL. When you first create a shortening URL, you can only pass the param value as a fixed value.
In the end, it wasn’t the feature I wanted, so I paid for it yesterday, did a few tests, and canceled the payment right away yesterday.
I contacted the credit card company to find a way to cancel the payment, but I am worried that I may be penalized for the shortening URL service that I am using for free on my account.
The shortening URLs that were being used for free on the account are also important assets of the company.
If you know how to get a refund smoothly, please let me know.
Please.
