I have no prior knowledge or experience of procedural generation. I would like to create a 3D game world of the solar system using Unity game engine. Can anyone recommend tutorials that have in-depth information on how to go about using procedural generation to represent the solar system?
I have tried importing game assets from the asset store to use a sky box to set up deep space but there are no indications of forward movement because the stars don’t appear to be moving. I’m expecting to be able to see the effect of forward movement and passing planets and interstellar entities.
