I have a domain registered with a Hosting service, let’s call it abc.com. I am currently building a site on this domain using WordPress on a Linux server.

Additionally, I want to host an FTP backup of a site built with .NET on a VDS running Windows, accessible via oldsite.abc.com. This way, I can serve the old site to users while developing the new one.

The VDS has DNS, DHCP, and IIS services installed.

I haven’t attempted anything yet, but I need guidance on the steps to take and what I should pay attention to in this process. I would be very grateful for your assistance.
