I’m new to installing orangefox recovery and in general rooting. I have unlocked my bootloader by watching many tutorials and have been successful at that. However, when I’m flashing the recovery.img file into my phone through fastboot, it boots into the orangefox recovery, which is fine. The only problem I’m facing is that it gives me a prompt where it says data partition encrypted. I am not aware of the password which is pretty evident now that the system is creating it’s own password. The other annoying thing is when booting into system, it gives me a prompt “to start Android, enter your password”. I have not created any password not do I know about any password. It does this automatically. Now I saw that formatting the data partition would solve when I flash later but it didn’t. After formatting, it goes to factory settings and re-flashing just does this thing. As if the device becomes untrusted. I’m new to all of this and my only purpose is to install a custom rom in my phone. I’m doing this on a redmi note 7s. I need help
I tried everything and was expecting to see my internal storage in orangefox. I cannot keep on formatting the data partition again and again
