I’m seeking advice on developing a backend service that facilitates bank-to-bank transfers within the UK.

Specifically, I’m interested in leveraging third-party or Open Banking APIs to seamlessly debit funds from my own bank account and transfer them to another bank account, all without the need to access my bank’s online portal.

I’ve explored options like Stripe and similar services, but they typically require the creation of an account with them and the retention of funds in their accounts, which isn’t feasible for my use case.

Both the sender and recipient bank accounts are located within the UK. I’d greatly appreciate any insights, recommendations, or best practices from those experienced in developing similar solutions or working with banking APIs in the UK.
