I have an Android app using standard Firebase Auth (including Google Auth), Crashlytics, Analytics, Ads integration, and HTTPS calls to a customer backend
In order to publich to Google Play Store, it is asking about compliance to US encryption law.
Is any reporting still required to BIS currently (Dec 2024), or is the app exempt from reporting using such tools?
My app is not using explicitly encryption libraries (defined in build.gradle) for Android app. My app is using open source libraries but itself is not open-source code itself. My location is outside of US.
There should be millions of apps. How do other people do?
Could you please explain with simple terms.
