I have an application that uses Google Maps API. I have the chrome extention that tells me if I am using it correctly, as it still says we are in the clear.
This application has been running for 10 years, and all of the sudden, the google maps function has stopped responding. The maps show up, but none of the functions that are related to clicking on the map markers are working. I have made no recent changed or releases, and this problem is happening in local, test and production.
Has google maps API updated in the last few days?

I upgraded the npm, and still I have this issue. What could possibly be happening? It’s the only thing in the app that’s failing. I have checked all logs, all servers, all gpus…nothing. I restarted the whole app even on aws. The problem has only gotten worse.
