I’m working my first job in IT as an IT tech Support apprentice, I’m five weeks in and I’m struggling.
I used to work as a bar manager and went for a lifestyle and career change.
I was completely honest in my interview about my skill level and experience level, which were both very slim.
On the whole my employer has been supportive and given me good feedback.
I am struggling with information overload.
I feel like I have absorbed some of the technical jargon and business jargon.
I feel like on the whole I have been learning everyday. It just frustrates me that I am still unable to complete tasks without assistance.
Has anyone been in a similar situation?
Can anyone share their experience?
I’ve tried persevering and staying engaged up until now!
