I have a laptop with an external monitor connected to the HDMI port. Everything works fine with kernel 6.9.8. When I boot into the newer kernels (6.9.9 or 6.9.10), the external monitor doesn’t get recognized. Running ARandR says that there is no HDMI port available.
System Info:
- CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900H
- GPU: Raptor Lake-P [Iris Xe Graphics] w/48009 MiB
- RAM: 64GiB
I am not sure what I can do to hunt this down. FWIW –
dmesg|grep HDMI
