A few days ago, exactly on 11/25/2024, I updated Windows 11 to its latest current version.
When I tried to open NetExtender I got the error that the service was not available, so I uninstalled the application and reinstalled it.
By doing this, every time I try to install NetExtender, I get the error ‘Windows does not have access to the specified device, path, or file.’ You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.
This is referring to ‘C:Program FilesSonicWallSSL-VPNNetExtenderNEService.exe’ ‘
This doesn’t make much sense since previously that folder always had permissions and had not had any problems.
I hope someone can help me as I use NetExtender to connect to my work.
I have already updated all the drivers.
I already gave full permissions to the folder.
Restart the computer.
Delete any type of installation or junk file with the Sonic Wall tool.
