I have a MacBook Pro M2, running Eclipse Version: 2023-09 (4.29.0), java version Open Jdk 17.0.8.1
I have a program that prints to the console, and the console encoding is set to UTF-8, font Menlo 18.
When I print the character 直 it is showing incorrectly as a different character, similar, but without the L-shape in the bottom left corner. However, if I copy the character and paste it into text edit or Chrome browser, it displays fine. This is particularly puzzling at the font setting of textedit is showing as Menlo 18 too.
It is showing some other characters incorrectly too.
Anyone have any ideas?
