I am writing to report an issue with our DNS server, which has been experiencing intermittent resolution problems. The server stops resolving hostnames approximately every 30 minutes. To temporarily resolve this, I have been restarting the DNS service, which restores functionality for another 30 minutes before the issue recurs.

During these outages, using nslookup to check the DNS server results in a “request time out” error. Despite this, there are no service failure events being logged.

Could you please investigate this issue further? Any assistance you can provide in diagnosing and resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated.
