While trying to install OS on my laptop, the USB drive with boot files on it was not getting detected. Then i copied the boot files on a hard drive ‘B’ and then used that hard drive to install the OS on the main hard drive ‘A’. After the successful installation, now when i hookup ‘B’ as an external drive, in the Computer Management it only shows the partition that has the boot files in it although there are more than one partitions on ‘B’ and other partitions contain my old files that i am trying to reach.

Since the OS has already been installed successfully on ‘A’, if i delete the only partition showing up on ‘B’, would that automatically start showing up the other partitions on ‘B’ then?

I was expecting to see all the partitions on ‘B’ when i connected it as an external drive.
