I have a Dell Precsion 3630 tower server (not a laptop) that I have run Fedora on for over a year. A week ago the ssd broke down and I replaced it (this time with at NVME one).
I then reinstalled Fedora Workstation from a live usb. Fedora was then visible in the UEFI boot list, but it will not boot from it. It just tell me there is no bootable disk.
I noticed that I lost date in the bios setup and concluded the coin battery must be flat. Grasping for straws, I thought it might interfere in some way, even though the server is always connected to power. After have replaced the battery the UEFI boot list is completely empty. I connected an traditional HD and installed Fedora there, but still nothing comes up in the boot list.
I have now upgraded the bios from ver 2.12.0 to 2.28.0, but no cigar!
I am now out of ideas. Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
