I have an issue with formulas formatted as HTML text in Crystal Reports 2020.
When I change a formula to HTML text, it looks like some spaces are removed and words stick to each other.
See screenshot1

Removing the HTML formatting and everything is okay again.
I noticed when I copy the text from the print preview and paste it into Notepad++, that CR LF characters are added if the sentence would become larger than 68 characters.
The words that are split by the CR LF operation are the ones that can be sticked to each other. see screenshot2:

And to be clear, there are no carriage returns or line feeds in the formula.
The formula is just a single string, like:
“Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia,…etc”
If I export the preview to PDF, the PDF shows the same issue.
I noticed that other reports I made in the past now also have the same issue when I open them.
I’m running Windows 11 with SAP Crystal Reports 2020 Service Pack 4 Patch 4
If I move the report to some other systems that don’t run Windows 11 and don’t have this latest version installed, the report works fine. It must be related to something on my machine…. Windows 11?, CR 2020?, something else ??
I hope someone has an idea of what is causing this.
