Copy & Paste from Outlook into common markdown editors doesn’t seem to work.

For example

becomes

in many editors (stackedit, obsidian, …)

the only absurd way I have found is to copy it to MS Word

and saving the word document as single web page (mht), and then opening the web page with Edge … but in IE compatibility mode

this can now be copied as correctly to a markdown editor

saving it a normal html page and opening in Chrome loses the deeper levels

The above is of course madness, there must be an easier way. Maybe some editors manage to correctly translate the clipboard content generated by Outlook?

Any ideas?
