I’m experimenting with an Android app, I need your help!

I have a Room Database data and this data is related to time, I need to control the device volume in the background of the app in a continuous loop based on the times in my database

For example if the user enters the time: 12:30 PM I need to mute the device from that time.

I really need help on how to code for this, I’m new to Android programming and I want to make this app run faster and more efficiently.

I’ve been trying to work with AlarmManager, but I’m having a hard time learning programming from YouTube, I don’t have a live tutorial, so I can’t use many libraries.
