I recently created a wsl 2 environment and i am running Kali Linux on it. When trying to install metapackages, the installation process gets stuck at ‘Setting up libc6:amd64 (2.37-15) …’ indefinitely and doesn’t proceed further. I have tried fixing broken packages, forcing install, trying to manually install, re-installing kali on wsl, re-installing the entire wsl environment. But, regardless the problem seems to persist

I have tried to check for conflicting packages, fix broken dependencies, try to force the installation of the package, and even doing simple things like clearing cache and updating kali. When these didn’t work, I tried to reinstall kali on wsl, and then i reinstalled the entire wsl environment. But, nothing seems to work.
