I want to calibrate a camera using a somehow stationary checkerboard calibration pattern, see in the images below. Reprodicble images are given, including one detected corner image and one undistorted image. Moreover, the standard opencv function is used directly from the opencv-website. I want to ask, if you know what I should customize to get a proper undistorted image.
I tried to fix k4,k5,k6, this resulted in a finer undistortion, although not entirely. Moreover, I have encountered this sinusoidal wave in all of my endeavors. The image seems to stretch to the back, which is really concerning.
