im trying to start learning c++

I installed msys2 and set the environment variables
however a simple code does not work and gives this message

exited with code=3221225477 in 0.814 seconds

I don’t know what .vscode folder is
does this automaticaly appear when you set the msys2?
or do you have to make the folder
if so what files do you nead in the .vscode folder

I tried reinstalling the msys2
followed the instructions on this youtube video
