My problem is that I have a lot of games recorded and I want to rename them. Does anyone have any idea how I can do it with a command line bat file to rename the compiled file in the folder and the subfolders as follows?
From:
- [nVidia_shadowplay] Overwatch – 01 (1080p) [54ED61D2].mp4
- [nVidia_shadowplay] Overwatch – 02 (1080p) [8420F08B].mp4
- [nVidia_shadowplay] Division 1 – 01 (1080p) [6BBFC350].mp4
- [nVidia_shadowplay] Rainbow Six – 05 (1080p) [68FB1FB9].mp4
- [nVidia] Skull & Bones – 01 [1080p][Multi Audio][51C11D4C].mp4
- [nVidia] Skull & Bones – 02 [1080p][Multi Audio][CC373570].mp4
- [nVidia] Skull & Bones – 03 [1080p][Multi Audio][941D03B7].mp4
To:
- [Gameplay] Overwatch – 01 (1080p) [H264].mp4
- [Gameplay] Overwatch – 02 (1080p) [H264].mp4
- [Gameplay] Division 1 – 01 (1080p) [H264].mp4
- [Gameplay] Rainbow Six – 05 (1080p) [H264].mp4
- [Gameplay] Skull & Bones – 01 [1080p] [H264].mp4
- [Gameplay] Skull & Bones – 02 [1080p] [H264].mp4
- [Gameplay] Skull & Bones – 03 [1080p] [H264].mp4
Importantly, they are in separate folders. I copied the file names for example.
And I’d like you to rename them if I run this in the main folder.
I honestly don’t know where to start 😀
But I must have got it wrong.
For /R %%G in (*[nVidia_shadowplay]) do REN "%%G" "%~nG[Gameplay]"
