I made a terrible mistake and clicked the button in Android Studio today that says “Project Upgrade Recommended”

Seemed harmless at the time I even ran my project on emulator and test devices and everything worked as normal, however now when I try to create an apk to send out to testers the project won’t build I get this bizarre error I’ve never encountered before and can’t find a clear fix that says “Manifest merger failed with multiple errors, see logs”, after navigating to the Android Manifest and selecting the merged manifest tab the errors I am confronted with this but it is unclear as what I can do to fix it:

Has anyone encountered this or can give me an idea as to how to fix these errors? Any help will go a long way thanks
