im new to the programing world and a have a few questions that i need answering. First, I want to know what the tag and tag mean. Ive went to a few websites and i still can’t seem to figure it out. My last request would be how do you make an arrow-shaped button that you can click? in this case im using it for a carousel. Thx so much for any help given.

First, i tried making a pill-shaped button and putting an arrow on the button but that did not work, as it resulted in a bunch if wierd characters that i did not put showing up on the button.
