My ASUS laptop has been experiencing frequent and random BSOD, sometimes more than 5 times in a day. When the BSOD screen appears, the lower part of the screen gives off a horizontal stripe of what typically looks like a dead screen. The STOP CODE and “What failed” values vary for each episode. Nothing in EventViewer gives a clue about the buildup to the crash.
I have run stress tests and checks using MyASUS, OCCT, CPU-Z, GPU-Z and nothing could be found. Nothing in EventViewer gives a clue about the build up to the crash.
Also attempted to analyze MEMORY.DMP using WINDBG but get a different FAILURE_BUCKET values for each crash. A snippet of the last result is shown below:
