I am asking the entirely of the blender community… Hoping that someone got the blender configure AI to basic get the input of the RZ axis, axis 5, threshold XXXX to twist the cube by twisting the joystick. Apparently, the firmware controls the axis. However, I am also betting that this information was lost because it already been over 20 years because humans will all die of old age. The digital coding was therefore lost. After ten years, the coding is release by the laws of several countries on IP (Intellectual Property). For example, after 10 years some IP in Japan is considered public domain. Try it with you configured computer. Mine already figure the weapons release and some other stuff.
I brought a HOTAS Joystick / throttle and I got many of the button and axis to work for blender 2.79 (eight axis) back to blender 2.59 (two axis). It does not work Blender 2.8 or higher since they replace axis with D pad. The last function is the RZ twist axis on Windows 10/11 or in linux it is know as axis 5….My computer cannot remap axis 5 to axis 8 for the twist and axis 7 to throttle button engine release cycle. I suspect a blender aware AI can figure this out…
