We have upgraded Sitecore from version 10.2 to 10.4.

We notice that in our SXA site the non breaking space html tags are not rendering as space instead they are displayed as string text.
non breaking space are rendered inside a span text.

We have tried removing the Single-Line text from Rendering.HtmlEncodedFieldTypes but that does not have any effect on the rendering.

This is created as a rendering variant for File Link fields.
