i was wondering how the Search Box web browsing works. If we figure out this we may be able to find a way of redirecting the web search on the Windows Searchbox to the default browser. I do know that there are some tool out there such as MSEdgeRedirect on Github that achieve this but i dont know how it works.

Does anyone know how is this achieved or even if the changes mus be done on the Registry editor or maybe on another place.
