Using chrome (aur) on Arch Linux.

So I went to messenger.com in Chrome then went …Save and Share -> Create Shortcut. Messenger gets its own icon in the dash. right click that icon, pin to dash, voila! that was easy.

HOWEVER

Now I go to mail.google.com, do the exact same thing, gmail gets its own icon in the dash… BUT no “pin to dash” option when I right click. If I quit out of it, then search in Gnome, Gmail can’t be found (unlike messenger above, which IS found). I can see the .desktop file exists in ~/Desktop so it’s created it. But I don’t get why it works for messenger.com but not for mail.google.com
