I have installed grads v2.2.1 using homebrew on my Apple Silicon (M1) Mac. After some adjustments, finally I have successed to launch GrADS window.
Then I open a ctl file and try to draw a contour plot of a weather parameter. However, the GrADS window shows an irregular plot like the attached image.
GrADS irregular plot example
According to homebrew website, Rosetta 2 seems to be required.

But GrADS itself runs successfully, drawing looks not working normally.
In addition, there is a description “Note that it is very difficult to remove Rosetta 2 once it is installed.” on the homebrew website, so I’m undecided about whether to install Rosetta 2.
To ensure GrADS functions properly, is Rosetta 2 really necessary? Also, will installing Rosetta 2 cause any issues?
