So, I got hit with a keyword spam virus on my website. I have my domain cleaned up.

I just need to clean up my Google Search Console…

As you can see, I have 18,000 pages that are “not indexed” and another 1,000 false “indexed” pages. I only have 10 pages on my site.

I did add the “header($_SERVER[“SERVER_PROTOCOL”] . ” 410 Gone”);” code to my 404.php, and that is helping remove the false indexed files from Google Search Console, but it is taking forever.

Just wondering, is there a faster way to remove these pages from both the “not indexed” and “indexed” sections of Google Search Console? Perhaps I can add something to .htaccess?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Been working on this for almost a month. Once this is fixed, everything will be cleaned up.
