i am trying to compile a react project, but i get the error in the attached file?

I am using Webpack 4.44.2 and React-Spring 8.0.27

Can you please help ?

It has something to do with the question mark before the dot, but i am not sure how to resolve it. Probably the webpack compiler is causing it, but not sure what to change?
