I have been working on a project for my internship after cloning a tutorial repo online then I started working.. (I used it to look into overall layout on how I should go about building the project)
Every single file was re-written again as I recreated them with our company tech stack.
When I was about to push the code onto my own private repo to save the progress, I noticed that the original code I cloned from the tutorial repo was there without my edits and the tutorial writer was set as a contributor of the repository.
I deleted that repository now, but I am just worried if the tutorial writer can see the code I updated? Because it is for the company I just want to make sure that the code is not accessible…
I would also like to know if this could cause any issues too.. I learned that this is such a bad practice now. I understand this may be a very dumb question but I am just super worried as this is my very first internship and I don’t want to mess up anything.
Thank you
