I am trying to find out why some webpages load very slowly for me, in Firefox. I turned on the Developer Tools window and selected the network tab, then reloaded the page without cache. I am really confused by this output, filtered down just to the webfonts:

Sorry about a screenshot – if there is a way to copy or save this info as text, I have not found it, but I have looked. Anyway, why these repeated requests for the same files? And they really are the same files, the details pane on the right shows that the full path of the request is the same, not just the base name like “4UaOrEtFpBlSc36j.woff2”.

I made a living as a developer but I don’t understand today’s web 🙁
