The Google maps Places API (New) uses a pay-as-you-go pricing model. I’m writing to inquire about the billing implications for using the Nearby Search (New) function in the Places API (New).

Specifically, I’d like to understand the cost difference between the following scenarios:

1] Making two separate API calls with a “maxResultCount” of 10 each.

2] Making a single API call with a “maxResultCount” of 20.

My question is whether these scenarios incur the same cost.
