There’s 2 links, and I downloaded from eclipseide.org (the top link and the one the wikipedia article sites as being the repository) and it had a really convoluted installer where I had to pick a 3rd party source to download the app from, even though I already downloaded the installer?

None of the YouTube tutorials tell you to go there, so I’m assuming I probably have to download from eclipse.org (which is the 2nd result on google and the one all the people on YouTube site) instead. That one’s installer is actually one within mortal comprehension, but the site for eclipseide.org seems pretty legit, so I’m wondering if it’s like a virus, or if there’s more than one Eclipse IDE, or if there’s 2 versions of the same IDE, or like, something else weird and wacky.

I’m assuming eclipse.org is the way to go, I’m just mainly asking this so this appears on the search results of anyone facing a similar issue.

I tried posting on reddit and I didn’t have enough karma, but I might try another subreddit.
