I’ve built a birthday wishes bot that sends automated messages to classmates on WhatsApp. The bot sends a personalized message to the celebrant’s direct message (DM) and also posts in our class group chat, so the celebrant can be celebrated by the whole class.

However, I’m facing a challenge. The WhatsApp APIs I’ve found so far aren’t free, and I’m on a budget. Can anyone recommend a free WhatsApp API that can help me achieve this?

• The bot is written in JavaScript.
• It runs on NodeJS.

I currently use Ultramessage WhatsApp API which I can only use the demo version for 4 days which defeat the whole process of automation without needing to re-activate the instance been used and I’m on a budget for this simple project.
