I just changed my job from Programmer/Developer to Data Analyst position, and my goal is to become a Data Engineer. I notice that my current Data Analyst only use Power BI to make report, and just run existing SQL to fetch data…that’s all. So should I stay if my goal is Data Engineer?

I tried asking for more technical responsibilities but no thing more to expect at this role. I also see that the Business Analyst on my team can fulfill my role…so..
