I have many Juypter notebooks in my User folder. I was working through a notebook exercise from Lee Vaughn‘s Scientific Data Book. I saved the notebook yesterday. When I tried to retrieve it today, it snd all my previously saved notebooks come up as PyCharm files. I have the PyCharm community program but I launch juypter from Anaconda. That also doesn’t work today. I’ve tried to Google this but can find no explanation this sudden problems. Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

I tried to load juypter notebooks from a drop-down from Anaconda but juypter did not load. Also tried from Navigator. ( I got the initial busy screen but the notebook page page didn’t load). I tried to select ipynb files but they would not load.
The PyCharm files are in the dark screen notebook cells but are uneditable.
