My WSL is not working and any command I type on the PowerShell (as administrator) gives the following error:
The system cannot find the path specified.
This error occurs even for the WSL –help command.
I tried to install the Linux Kernels via the WSL update and still the issue persists.
When I went into the Installed Apps section in Settings, the WSL app did not exist.
I had deleted the WSL folder from Program Files except for some files which were running after which this error started taking place. Later I manually ended those tasks from task manager and completely deleted the folder hoping it would work but unfortunately that’s not the case.
I have the ‘WSL’ feature enabled along with ‘virtualization’ enabled from my BIOS and the ‘Virtual Machine Platform’ feature enabled too.
On downloading some WSL OS from the Microsoft Store I receive the following error:
