I deleted a virtual machine and its virtual hard disk image from Hyper V before the allocated space could be merged back with my physical drive. Now the hard disk space is depleted, I have tried using AOMEI partition assistant to see if the Virtual hard disk was a partition on my C: drive, but it didn’t show. Additionally, I have tried using diskpart and disk manager to reclaim the space but it doesn’t even show the space allocated to the virtual hard disk. Can anyone help in reclaiming that space and merging it back with my C: drive?

1. I tried to create a new VM and allocate the same space to it and then delete it and see if it would merge, it did not work.
2. I tried to delete the Virtual hard disk volume, to see if it would merge, it didn’t work.
