I was recently asked to put some of our data into SQL Server. Our source information is in Excel (Excel 2013…….). These Excel files get updated daily, multiple times a day.
What would be the easiest way to get set the tables in SQL to auto update based on the changes made in the Excel files? I run a fair amount of Power BI and am able to do this by simply hitting the refresh button. Is there an equivalent for SQL?

I’ve seen that this can be accomplished using PowerShell but I am wondering if there is a different option?
