I frequently need to hide the mac menu bar.
The option to automatically hide the menu bar is unsuitable. I dislike the experience of waiting for the menu to appear, or hovering the mouse where it should show, and it doesn’t show reliably or doesn’t detect the mouse appropriately.
I must manually hide the menu. The GUI method to do this is horribly slow, especially as I do it frequently.
I typically hide the menu when watching a video full screen, and at other times too.
Please advise how can I script hiding the menu bar, and then returning it when I want it. I just want one or two scripts to show/hide the menu.
Thank you
Matt
On Windows this can be accomplished with a registry hack. I know this is different. But there’s nearly always a hack…?
